Pastor Clyde L. Lindsay
Pastor Clyde L. Lindsay, a native of Midway, North Carolina, was born on November 15, 1961, to the late Clyde Lindsay and Lillian Lindsay. He is joyfully married to Claudette Williams Lindsay, and together they are blessed with two daughters, Josette and Lynette, and five beautiful grandchildren who bring great joy to their lives.
Pastor Lindsay accepted Christ at the age of seven and showed a sincere desire to grow in his faith from an early age. Over the years, he served faithfully in many areas of ministry, including Deacon, Chairman of the Deacon Board, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader, and Bible Study Teacher. These roles helped shape his heart for service and his passion for teaching God’s Word.
In 1990, Pastor Lindsay answered the call of God to serve as the Under Shepherd of Righteous Church of God in Midway, North Carolina. He has now served in pastoral ministry for more than 31 years across multiple denominations, always committed to preaching and teaching with clarity, compassion, and conviction.
Pastor Lindsay is a graduate of North Davidson Senior High School and later continued his theological education at Shaw University, where he graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Divinity in May 2002.
In September 2009, after a season of fasting and prayer, God led Pastor Lindsay to establish a ministry dedicated to healing the wounded and delivering those in bondage. From this vision, Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church was birthed.
Pastor Lindsay is known for his humility, his joyful spirit, and his ability to find light even in difficult situations. His smile, laughter, and sense of humor uplift those around him. He firmly believes that it is the anointing that destroys the yoke in every believer’s life, and he strives to serve God with excellence in all he does.
First Lady Claudette Williams Lindsay
Claudette Williams Lindsay, a native of Winston Salem, North Carolina. Born to the Late Clyde Williams and Mary Williamson Williams on July 31, 1961, the 4thchild of six siblings, married to Pastor Clyde Lindsay and together they are blessed with one daughter Lynette and the grandparents of one grandson Eric
She is Graduate of the illustrious Winston Salem State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.
She is a wife, mother and grandmother that absolutely loves Christ. Her husband, daughter and grandson are her biggest fans and her life’s work.
First as a believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ her love and dedication to Christ has been the only assurance for a happy, healthy, and aspired life. Trials and tribulations have come to make her stronger.
She’s our Tyler Perry her at Greater Faith. She writes and directs some outstanding plays. She’s not your typically 1st lady she hardworking and she works along side the members.

She loves the opportunity to encourage young ladies and women that the word of God also provides principles. These principles will allow you to follow the general guidelines of wisdom and discernment when you apply Gods word. Proverbs 2:20 “Therefore walk in the way of the good and keep to the paths of the just”
As Christian women we must learn to inspire and encourage one another.
PROVERBS 31:10 says Who can find a virtuous woman? Our 1st lady exemplifies a virtuous woman. Once you have a friend in her you have friend for life
Her favorite quote from the words of Harriet Tubman a former slave “Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”
Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church (GFMBC) mission
Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church exist to exalt God’s greatness and to proclaim the gospel of Christ and the beliefs of the Christian faith. Where Jesus is the main attraction and our “faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God” 1 Corinthians 2:5.
We are a people’s Church that is called to proclaim the gospel of Christ, the beliefs of the Christian faith, to maintain the worship of God, and to inspire in all persons a love for Christ, a passion for righteous, and a consciousness of their duties to God and their fellow human beings. We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through worship, witnessing, and ministry to the needs of the people of this church and the community.
