Mission Statement

Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church exist to exalt God's Greatness and to proclaim the gospel of Christ and the beliefs of the Christian faith. Where Jesus is the main attraction and our faith should not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God 1 Corinthians 2:5. We are a peoples church that is called to proclaim the gospel of Christ and the beliefs of the Christian faith, to maintain worship of God and to inspire in all persons a love for christ, a passion for righteousness, and a consciousness of their duties to God and their fellow human beings. We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate his Spirit through worship, witnessing, and ministry to the needs of the people of this church and the community.

Pastor Clyde Lindsay is a native of Midway, NC. Pastor Lindsay accepted Christ at the age of seven.

In October of 2009, through fasting and praying God lead Pastor Lindsay to birth a ministry that would heal the wounded and deliver those that were in bondage. Pastor Lindsay founded Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church.

Pastor Lindsay believes in giving God the praise and takes no credit for himself. Through it all Pastor Lindsay, seeks to be faithful to his calling through an abiding commitment to God and Christian Ministry.

First Lady Lindsay

Claudette Williams is a native of Winston Salem, NC. First Lady Lindsay is a graduate of WSSU, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.

First Lady Lindsay is a believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and her dedication to Christ has been the only assurance for a happy, healthy, and aspired life.

One of her favorite quotes from the words of Harriet Tubman is, "Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember that you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world."
